Privacy Policy

Inner Forecast is designed to be private and local. The app helps you log everyday emotions as weather conditions, add optional notes, view your history, use support tools, and set optional local reminders.

What Inner Forecast collects

Inner Forecast does not collect personal data on a server. The app stores the information you enter on your device, including:

• Weather condition logs
• Intensity values
• Optional journal notes
• App settings, such as theme and reminder preferences

Where your data is stored

Your Inner Forecast data is stored locally on your device. Inner Forecast does not create an account, does not upload your logs, and does not sync your entries to an Inner Forecast server.

If you use Apple device backups, your app data may be included in those backups depending on your device settings. Those backups are managed by Apple, not by Inner Forecast.

Internet, analytics, and tracking

Inner Forecast does not use analytics, advertising trackers, third-party tracking SDKs, or remote databases. The app does not sell personal information.

The First Aid Kit includes links to external mental health support websites. Those websites are outside Inner Forecast and have their own privacy practices. Opening a support link will leave the app and use your browser.

Notifications

If you enable daily reminders, Inner Forecast schedules a local notification on your device at the time you choose. Reminder settings are stored locally. You can turn reminders off in the app settings or manage notification permission in iOS Settings.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual logs inside the app. Deleting the Inner Forecast app from your device removes the app and its locally stored data from that device.
